From that I learned the basics and purchased my first camera while still in high school. I learned more through reading and trial and error. My first formal training came in 2013 when I took a basic photography class at a community college. During high school I became fascinated with the freighters that sailed on the lakes. The boats intrigued me and for a time I wanted to work on them. My career took me down a different path, but I never lost my interest in the boats. Christopher, thank you for the unexpected view. I have never been up this canyon. Now I will have to add it to the list. CV/F
Gales Of November replied:
Thank you, Aaron. This was about the extent of my trip up the canyon. I went as far as the stand of pines in the middle of the image. I hadn't prepared to go beyond Inspiration Point, but couldn't resist heading down the trail. I was told that there would likely be moose in the canyon, but I did not see any. Returning hikers informed me that the trail was blocked about 5 miles ahead by snow.
