I like how you turn this into a panno for the long ship, I think it's a great choice

Thanks, Jeff. Some of these ships are huge, rivaling aircraft carriers with their length.

Artist's Description

Mission Point is located on the Saint Mary's River south of Sault Saint Marie. It is a popular spot for boat watching as boats approach and leave the Soo Locks. There is a small restaurant at the north end and the Sugar Island Ferry leaves from there too.

The Cedarglen was launched in Germany in 1959 as the Erms Ore. She was transferred to Hall Shipping Corporation Ltd. in 1976, and renamed the Montcliffe Hall.

In 1988 Halco was liquidated and purchased by N. M. Paterson & Sons Ltd. and renamed Catierdoc. She operated for her new owners until 2002 when she was sold to Canada Steamship Lines and renamed the Cedarglen. She continues to operate for CSL.
