Description
Dice have been found dating back 5000 years from an archeological dig in Iran. They have been made from bone, wood, stone and other materials. Today's dice are mostly made from plastic. The most common form is the 6-sided die, although other types exist, some sporting as many as 100 sides.

Revisiting your work after several months. I love this! And... I just realized you must like Stan Rogers' music. He's a big favourite in our house. I'm actually writing this as enormous gales of November are raging outside; though we don't live near "the great lake they call GitchiGoomi".
Gales Of November replied:
Thank you for returning, Nina. I have to admit I'd never heard of Stan Rogers before. I looked him up and find that I like him a lot.

Gales Of November replied:
Thank you, Joe. No, I was concentrating too much on trying to get the timing right. It was kind of hard to do in the dark.

What a fun image. Curious - how many tossed did it take to catch them all in the air? Love this . . .
Gales Of November replied:
Thank you so much, E Faith. Catching them in the air wasn't too much of a problem. Catching them in the air in focus was more problematic. I was doing this with the lights off. So...drop the dice...take the picture...then turn the lights on and try to find the dice and repeat. I think I shot between 2 and 3 dozen images. I just like this one the best.
